b. a ban on using cell phones or texting while driving (except while using a hands-free device). Despite studies to the contrary, I believe talking on a phone with a hands-free device is not distracting.
c. banning only text messaging while driving.
d. a complete ban of cell phone use by minors (under 18) while driving (talking and texting).
e. a ban only on minors (under 18) just for text messaging while driving.
f. bans restricting older drivers from using cell phones while driving. Studies show that older drivers are more distracted by cell phone use than younger drivers.
g. letting us (and parents) decide when and where to use our cell phones without government control.
5. Laws against driving distractions. Studies show that there are lots of distractions that are more dangerous and more common that cell phone use, yet NONE of the more dangerous driving distractions are being contemplated by lawmakers for specific bans.

a. Despite multiple studies to the contrary, I feel that cell phone use is the most dangerous distraction while driving and needs special laws to control it.
b. There are other distractions that are more dangerous than using cell phones while driving but they should be ignored and cell phone use while driving should be outlawed anyway.
c. Specific laws need to be enacted to ban each specific unsafe driving distraction.
d. The existing laws against unsafe driving should be enhanced.
e. The laws we already have against unsafe driving should be used to control unsafe driving instead of enacting specific laws against specific distractions.
6. Are dash mounted map screens distracting to drivers?

a. Dash mounted map screen use while driving is as dangerous as using a cell phone and should be banned while the vehicle is in motion, or the government should mandate that the map devices be automatically disabled when the vehicle is in motion.
b. Using a dash mounted map screen while driving is safer than talking or texting on a phone. Only phone use needs government regulation.
c. The use of dash mounted map screens while driving and cell phone use should be left to the driver's discretion.
