Welcome to the Butterfield Elementary School web site, home of the Butterfield
Bobcats! We are honored to have recently been named a National Blue Ribbon School of
Excellence. Butterfield is a community of learners and a community
of leaders. Our students, parents, and staff work together to make Butterfield an
educational family that strives to bring our students' goals, dreams and visions to
fruition. We believe that these goals and dreams are an investment in the future of our

Mr. Sugameli and his wife were presented with this award in Washington,
DC in October, 2000!
